MR LILLEY'S VISIT TO HONG KONG
I am writing to thank you for your work in establishing channels with the Governor's private office which enabled the uncertainties about when it would be best for Mr Lilley to visit Hong Kong to be resolved.
I attach a telegram to the Governor confirming the meeting on 21 January and that Mr Lilley will stay with Peter Heap. I should be grateful if you would arrange for this to be transmitted. We shall separately be sending an OTTER to BTC similarly confirming these arrangements.
