I have just received the 21 December version of the HKD list of visits and calls on Ministers, for which many thanks.
Two small points:
(a)
(b)
The dates of 14-15 March for the Governor's visit to London have been overtaken by events. As stated in our telno 3674, we are now planning for a working visit on 8 and 11 March. The Governor would in fact arrive in the UK on 7 March and leave for Germany on 12 March; and
I am not sure why the proposed visit by the Governor to Singapore has been included as taking place in August. As stated in para 5 of our telno 2907, our present thinking is to tack this onto his proposed visit to London in late June.
