1. I am grateful to those who responded to my minute of 1 November with points to make.

I attended the meeting of the CPA's Seminar and Visits Sub-Committee on 15 November and have minuted separately to Hong Kong Department and WAD. Most of the FCO objectives were met in full, or in part, other than in areas where special considerations applied. The list is still subject to fine-tuning if it becomes apparent that bids have gone astray, as has happened frequently in the past. However, the final count now stands as follows:-
