Please refer to your minute of 14 November to Mr Adams.
2. You asked when the next meeting on contingency planning
was due to take place. According to the Secretary of Misk 140, the next meeting will be held in January 1991. The
meeting was originally scheduled for October, but has
slipped because of the Gulf crisis and because the Home
Office sub group has still not completed its work.
I will keep Lord Caithness and the PUS informed of further developments.
