1. You suggested that we should give the Singaporeans some briefing for Lee Kuan Yew to use during his visit to Peking on 16-23 October (Singapore telno 463).
2. I submit a draft telegram to Singapore which I have
discussed with Mr Paul. SEAD agree.

You might make the same points as those in the telegram to the Singaporean High Commissioner when he calls on you on
15 October. But timing would be too tight to rely on this
call only to feed in briefing in time for the visit.
