A BILL
To
Amend the Electoral Provisions Ordinance.
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. Short title and commencement
(1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Electoral Provisions
(Amendment) Ordinance 1990.
(2) This Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be
appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette and different
days may be so appointed for different provisions.
2.
Long title
The long title to the Electoral Provisions Ordinance (Cap. 367)
is amended by adding "of the Legislative Council," before "of the
Urban Council".
3.
Interpretation
(1) Section 2 (1) is amended
(a) in the definition of "constituency" by adding "(aa),"
before "(a)";
(b)
by adding after the definition of "District"

""elected Member" has the meaning assigned to it
in the Legislative Council (Electoral
Provisions) Ordinance (Cap. 381);";
