A BILL
Το
Amend the Legislative Council (Electoral Provisions) Ordinance.
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1.
Short title
(1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Legislative Council
(Electoral Provisions) (Amendment) Ordinance 1990.
(2) This Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be
appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette and different
days may be so appointed for different provisions.
2.
Long title
The long title to the Legislative Council (Electoral
Provisions) Ordinance (Cap. 381) is amended by adding "in respect of
functional constituencies" after "Council".
3.
Interpretation
(1) Section 2 (1) is amended
(a) in the definition of "constituency" by repealing "an
(b)
electoral college constituency or";
in the definition of "elected Member" by adding "in
respect of a functional constituency" after
"Council"; and
