"judicial office" has the same meaning as in section 2 of the
Public Service Commission Ordinance (Cap. 93);
"non-established office" has the same meaning as in section
2 (1) of the Pension Benefits Ordinance (Cap. 99);
"office of emolument" does not include

the office of Chairman or Vice-Chairman of the
Urban Council or chairman of any committee
thereof; or
the office of Chairman or Vice-Chairman of the
Regional Council or chairman of any committee
thereof.".
11.
Any elector may be a candidate,
but for one constituency only
(1)
Section 21(1) is amended by adding "the Legislative
Council," after "member of".
(2)
Section 21 (2) is repealed and the following substituted
" (2)
No elector shall be nominated in an election as a
candidate in more than one constituency.
(2A) No elector shall be nominated in an election under
this Ordinance as a candidate in a constituency in respect of
the Legislative Council if he has been nominated in an election
under the Legislative Council (Electoral Provisions) Ordinance
(Cap. 381) as a candidate in a functional constituency in
respect of that Council.".
12.
Returning officers and staff
(1)
Section 23 (1) is amended by adding "other than an election
in any constituency in respect of the Legislative Council" after
"election".
