(a) Government bills and motions plus amendments whether proposed by the Government or members: to be passed by a simple majority:
(b) Private members bills and motions introduced by members and not initiated by Government: to be dealt with normally by a simple majority, but with a procedure for separate vote counting if requested by one-third or more of members attending.
