[I appreciate your suggestions about handling such incidents and about seeking an undertaking from the organisers not to infringe the law in the future. ]
However I think it unlikely that such an undertaking
would ever be forthcoming.
I shall nevertheless have the opportunity to touch
on these matters, both with the Governor and his
advisers and, I am sure, with representatives of those
who believe that their civil liberties are being
unreasonably restricted by these regulations.
