(a) LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL BUSINESS:

Members discussed
the background to and
action to be taken after the Governor, as
President of the Legislative Council, had ruled on
various committee stage amendments proposed by
the
Mr Martin Lee, Mr Ronald Chow and Mr Szeto Wah.
(b) TIN SHUI WAI
Members requested that an Information Note be
submitted on the present position regarding the
litigation.
(c) EASTERN HARBOUR CROSSING TUNNEL (EHC)
Reference was made to the fact
that some
institutions which had financed the Tunnel were
concerned about its cash-flow and were likely
resurrect the issue of imposing a fare
now
to
differential
between the two
