You may also like to note that the Criminal Justice Act 1988 makes certain amendments to the 1967 Act. When these provisions are bought into force by way of a Consolidation Bill later this year, the definition of an extradition crime will no longer be based on a list of offences. Instead, any offence punishable by 12 months' imprisonment or more will be extraditable (provided the conduct of which the fugitive is accused would also be an offence so punishable in the UK). This will widen the range of extraditable offences, but it is difficult to say what effect this will have on the matter you have raised.

I hope this is helpful.
