BBC WORLD SERVICE: ENGLISH BY TELEVISION
1.
Mrs Smith, BBC World Service Controller English Services, wrote to Mr Eggar on 14 March 1989 about the recent successful launch on China Central Television of the BBC English by Television series "Follow Me to Science" and the BBC project to finance and make a replacement for "Follow Me".
2. I recommend Mr Eggar sends a short acknowledgement and I attach a draft reply. The video cassette is available if Mr Eggar wishes to see it but it is unremarkable and adds nothing to Mrs Smith's letter.
