7.
PROFILES OF THE THREE SERVICES
7.1.
CR1, our Flagship Station, is in its 29th year as the
most listened to Station in the Territory. During these three
decades, although programme mix and modes of presentation have
changed beyond recognition, yet the main ingredients remain the
same: News and Public Affairs, Drama and Music.
During this six-year period, most of the proposed
Programme Developments will be incorporated into this Service
as they come on stream. We will see changes in treatment and
modes of presentation, but we see no change in basic ingredients.
Product Enhancement and a greater emphasis on Public Affairs
and Programmes of Information will be the order of the day.
