Establishment of transmitting and receiving stations.

Provided that where the licensee objects to producing any book or statement of account required under this sub-clause to be produced, he may appeal to the Governor in Council against such requirement and shall not be bound to produce such book or statement of account unless and until the Governor in Council confirms such requirement.

(1) All apparatus used in the transmitting and receiving stations shall comply with such requirements as the Telecommunications Authority may see fit to impose by notice in writing to the licensee.

(2) The transmitting station shall not be operated on any wave-length or frequency other than a wave-length or frequency allocated by the Telecommunications Authority by notice in writing to the licensee. Any such frequency allocation may be varied at the discretion of the Telecommunications Authority.

(3) The transmitting station shall not be used in such a manner as to cause any unreasonable or unnecessary interference with authorized wireless services and will comply with the requirements of any regulations, international or Hong Kong, currently in force, having regard to frequency tolerance and intensity of Harmonies and Parasitic Emissions.

(4) The power supplied to the serial feeder of the transmitting station shall be that power authorized in writing by the Telecommunications Authority.

(5) Except as may be otherwise permitted in writing by the Telecommunications Authority, the transmitting station shall, in addition to the apparatus necessary for the maintenance of the service, be equipped with at least one reserve transmitter which shall be in good working order.

(6). All high voltage equipment shall be adequately safeguarded by means of safety devices for the protection of all persons operating such equipment.

The transmitting station shall be known as Commercial Radio Hong Kong and all emissions from the transmitting station shall be identified by this name.

6. The service shall consist of not more than three separate transmissions as follows :-

(a)

two transmissions in which at least eighty per cent of the programmes in any one day on each transmission shall be conducted in a Chinese dialect;
