and should observe such conditions as
may be imposed by the
Telecommunications Authority regarding
the testing or operation of the said
equipment.
57. The transmission system operated by
the licensee should be capable of
transmitting signals in accordance
with the characteristics specified in the appropriate Code of Practice issued by the Telecommunications Authority.
58.
(a) The licensee should use and operate
all of its apparatus and equipment
in such a manner as not to cause
interference with any authorised
broadcasting or telecommunication services or apparatus operating in or outside Hong Kong.
These Codes of
Practice will cover
broadcast transmission
signals, supplementary information, performanc
of studio and OB
equipment etc.
This is to comply with
the Telecommunication
(Control of
Interference)
Regulations (Cap. 106); especially in view of the high power of broadcast transmitters.
(b)
In order to avoid or remedy and such
interference the licensee should
comply with all instructions given
to it by the Telecommunications
Authority in respect of the
operation and use of its appartus and equipment.
59. The licensee should to the extent
required by the Telecommunications
Authority, perform and observe the requirements of any International
Hong Kong is obliged
to observe these
international treaties.
