Where the Broadcasting Authority has been ordered to make an inquiry (see 11(a) above), before recommending revocation it must give the licensee notice in writing that such a recommendation is being considered and the reasons why it is being considered. Before making

any recommendation, the Authority must consider any representation or objection made to it by or on behalf of

the licensee.

Where there is cause to revoke the licence, а period of notice of not less than 60 days should be given

to the licensee.

Suspension

14.

The licence should be subject to suspension of up to a period of one month by the Broadcasting Authority

having regard to the number of occasions on which the

licensee has contravened the provisions of the

Telecommunication Ordinance, any relevant Ordinance,

regulations, licence conditions, Codes of Practice, or

directions applicable to the licensee, and the number of financial penalties that have been imposed on the licensee.
