We are more or less up to speed on the information work
But the following points are still outstanding:
(a) The Secretary of State is content with the "Getting our Message Across" pack (indeed News Department are already using it) but has asked that the sections on Representative Government be
expanded and sharpened.
(b) We must expand our current Bull Points sheet (ie the one side effort I prepared for Information Dept last month) to take
account of statements to the FAC at the formal evidence session and
our "Getting our Message Across" pack. See Mr Muir's minute of
21 March.
(c) The Secretary of State is to write to OD colleagues enclosing the Bull Points and a copy of the paper we sent to the
Prime Minister before the Governor's call on her.
