Binh Tri Thien province ect...They left the country not because of economic difficulty. They have had good income and property. Mr.Son and his wife have had tailor-shop, heving reserved capital. As Mrs. Thanh at Nguyen Thiep street, Mr. Vu Huu Thanh who were already abroad (USSR) on labour cooperation from 1981-1987. They left the countryas they wanted to be more richer. But the facts were quite severe. They could not find more gold, more property or the idleness but instead of that they had bitterness, shameness and despair. Mrs. Nguyen thi Thoan weeped :" we lived not in a poor conditions, we have had big restaurant, so much money, our parents and brother lived in Sai-gon. But I would like to be more happy for myself and my family. I deceived my husband and children to escape to Hongkong via Quang Ninh on 10/6/88. After 17 days drifting about on the sea, I arrived Hongkong. The above 17 days are a sery of bitterness that I had to stand. But when arriving to Hongkong and to be put into camp where human dignity has been trampled, peoples were moved from camps to camps.
