that, at the
ICR meeting taking place in Bangtok, UNHCR had nounced that they had made provisional arrangements to charter
Airways
a
plane from Fillipino between the dates of 29th January and 3rd February in order to repatriate the first group of refugees from Hong Kong to Vietnam.
It is believed that the Vietnamese would like the refugees repatriated before their New Year and that because of this, the only plane and dates available are the above.

The Fillipino Airline need confirmation of the charter
the 13th January,
UNHCR have asked for written financial pledges before this date. The planes flight plan would be Manila - Hong Kong- Hanoi, it would then fly to Ho Chi Minh City
to pick up Programme.
