BOILERS AND PRESSURE RECEIVERS (AMENDMENT)
Substitution of "pressure vessel" for "pressure receiver”
33. The Ordinance is amended by repealing "pressure receiver" wherever it appears in the provisions specified in Schedule 2 and substituting "pressure vessel".
Substitution of “pressure vessels” for “pressure receivers"
34. The Ordinance is amended-...
(a) in the long title and in the subheading above section 11, by repealing
"receivers" wherever it appears and substituting "vessels”;
(b) in sections 2(1), 3(3), 7(1) and (2), 10(1), 47(3)(a) and 65(1), by repealing
"pressure receivers" and substituting "pressure vessels”;
(c) in the headings of Parts III, IV and VI, by repealing "RECEIVERS" and
substituting "VESSELS".
Substitution of "Authority" for "Principal Surveyor"

35. The Ordinance is amended by repealing "Principal Surveyor" wherever appears in the provisions specified in Schedule 3 and substituting "Authority".
Substitution of "Authority" for "Registrar"
36. The Ordinance is amended by repealing "Registrar" wherever it appears in the provisions specified in Schedule 4 and substituting "Authority".
Addition of "oil”
37. Sections 30, 41, 42(1) and 44(5) are amended by adding "oil," after "convey".
Substitution of "Hong Kong" for "the Colony"
38. Sections 2(1) and 7(2)(c) and (3)(b) are amended by repealing "the Colony" and substituting "Hong Kong".

Gasholders Examination Regulations
Interpretation
39. Regulation 2 of the Gasholders Examination Regulations (Cap. 54, sub. leg.) is amended-
(a) by adding before the definition of "competent person"-
""Authority" means the public officer appointed under section 4(1) of the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Ordinance (Cap. 56) to be the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Authority;";
(b) by repealing the definition of "Government Surveyor".
