misleading by reason of the omission of any material particular
or furnishes any information as true and accurate information
without any belief in the truth or accuracy of the information
supplied shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on
conviction to a fine of $10,000.
(2)
Any person who claims, represents or holds out, by
advertisement or otherwise, that -
(a) any article or object is a scheduled species; or
(b) any medicine is a controlled medicine,
without any belief in the truth of the claim, representation or
holding out shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on
conviction to a fine of $10,000.".
Cancellation of licence
9.
Section 8(4) is amended by repealing "$2,000" and
substituting "$10,000".
Production of licence
10. (1) Section 9(1) is repealed and the following
substituted
