The annual data may, nevertheless, be quoted freely. The figures for 1988 are part of the revised preliminary estimate of expenditure on the gross domestic product, while those for 1987 are part of the revised provisional GDP estimate. These published annual data may not tally exactly with the corresponding summed totals from the quarterly data, which are more up-to-date.
