to enable certified copies or extracts of documents kept and registered by the Registrar of Companies to be admitted in evidence in court without further proof (section 10);

to give the Registrar of Companies a discretion when registering an oversea company under Part XI of the principal Ordinance to accept other evidence of incorporation where a certificate of incorporation cannot be produced (section 11);

to introduce new fees relating to annual returns and company names.

Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
