(2) The Financial Secretary shall cause a copy of the auditol
report and a copy of the statement of accounts to be laid on the
table of the Legislative Council.
(3) The Director of Audit may at any reasonable time examine
any account, book or other record kept by the Commission and, if he
thinks fit, make a copy or abstract of any entry in, or take extracts
from, any such account, book or other record.
Investment of funds
16.
Funds of the Commission which are not immediately required
may be invested by the Commission in such manner as the Financial
Secretary shall approve.
PART III
SECURITIES AND FUTURES BOARD OF APPEAL
Constitution of Board
17. (1) For the purposes of hearing appeals under this Part,
there shall be a board to be known as the Securities and Futures
Board of Appeal.
(2) The Board shall consist of the following members appointed
by the Governor
(a)
a chairman and a deputy chairman (not being directors or
employees of the Commission) each of whom shall be a
barrister qualified to practise as such or a solicitor
qualified to act as such under the Legal Practitioners
Ordinance (Cap. 159);
