I am herewith attaching a speech I am making shortly to the Hong Kong Ex- porters' Association. Apart from criticising the Hong Kong Government for not controlling our inflation, it contains a realistic forecast of the economic situation in Hong Kong in the next ten years and a couple of concrete suggest- I have warned some of our Taipans, and especially our Chinese Taipans, that I am making a suggestion which is really more of a promise than a threat because if there is no confidence in Hong Kong, there is also no point in in- vesting in Hong Kong.
