Harbour Ops/Admin (611J). A Harbour Ops/Admin link will be established to RN Shore Parties, if required, on orders of SNO(A).

f. Diplomatic HF SSB. See paragraphs 12e(4) and 24b(1) above. The SNO(A) may join Diplomatic HFF SSB nets as appropriate, in accordance with RNCP 1, Chapter 10 Section 6, until such time as direct communications are established to the OCR.

g. Helicopter Communications. See paragraphs 21 and 22 above.

46. Army Communications.

a.

Unit communications will be established as required using existing unit equipment.

b. Frequency assignments for unit nets will be issued by the FSO.

RAF Communications.

HQ STC will provide the following communications, as

a. AMT. See paragraphs 44a (1) and 44b (2). HQ STC will advise CDCN of any requirement for an AMT channel.

b. Flight Watch. A Light Radio Detachment (HF) (Lt RD (HF)) at the Main Evacuation Airfield and at the Reception Airfield, if required, to extend the RAF FW service (see paragraph 18b(3)).

C.

RAF TTC 1-3 (240J-242J). HF radio detachments fitted BID/860 or BID/ 950 to establish a secure RATT circuit between the main evacuation and the selected reception airfields.

d. RAF ATC (260J). To restore or supplement ATC communications at the main evacuation airfield, an ATC team equipped with:

(1) VHF ground/air radio.

(2) UHF ground/air radio.

(3) Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN).

Air/Ground (261J). A UHF radio detachment to establish ground/air communications at evacuation and reception airfields.

f. RAF TAM 1 (640J). Up to 4 Lt RD (HF) to establish RAF TAM 1 net between the main evacuation airfield and up to 3 in-country evacuation airfields.
