between the OCR and a DCN Anchor Station as detailed in Part 2 Plans. The AMT channel (para 44a (1) above), if required, is to be extended to RAF Upavon. Coordinating Instructions are to be in accordance with DNCP No 7, CRLIS, Section 2, CRLI number as stated in Part 2 Plans.
(3) Force/RN Command (124J). A Vehicle Radio Detachment (HF) (VRD (HF))(fitted BID/860), to establish a secure RATT simplex circuit between the OCR and the SNO(A). The FSO will notify HM Ship of line numbers of BIS/25/1 from which callsigns will be derived. (See paragraph 12e (1) above).
(4) Force/RN Liaison (126J). Up to 2 VRD (VHF) (fitted BID/250) (one detachment for HM Ship) to establish a secure voice circuit between the OCR and the SNO(A). When an LPD or CVS/LPH is deployed the ship terminal will be provided from RN resources.

Force/Diplomatic Liaison (512J). Two Manpack Radio Detachments (HF) (MRD(HF)) to establish a voice circuit between the OCR and the local UK diplomatic post. The SNO(A), if HM ships are deployed, is to join the net.
(6) Diplomatic HF SSB. A MRD (HF) to establish communications between the OCR and UK diplomatic posts on Diplomatic HF SSB circuits as appropriate. Net may be joined in lieu of establishing Force/ Diplomatic Liaison (512J).
(7) Additional Circuits. A number of circuits additional to those listed in sub-paragraphs (1) to (6) above, which may be required from time to time to meet operational requirements are included in the Schedule of Circuits at Appendix 2.
45. Naval Communications. When HM Ships are deployed, the following communications will be established as required:
a. General. HM Ships will set watch on Task Force/Task Group (TF/TG) circuits as ordered by the SNO (A). Ship/Shore/Ship communications will be determined by equipment fits as described in sub-paragraphs (1) and (2) below.
b.
(1) HM Ships with SATCOM. Connectivity instructions will be published by CINCFLEET.
(2) HM Ships without SATCOM. Non-SATCOM ships will use the
appropriate Ship/Shore/Ship system. A dedicated MRL will be provided as ordered by CINCFLEET. Details of HF MRLs are given in RNCP 1.
Force/RN Command (124J). See paragraph 44b(3) above. The SNO(A) will advise OCR of the expected time the circuit will be activated when HM Ship is approximately 24 hours steaming distance of the scene of operations stating PIM.
