Hong Kong's participation in the Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia and the Pacific (NACA)
I refer to the papers on NACA resting with
your telegram number 2415 of 20 September. To complete the picture, you will wish to know that Mr. S.A. Webb- Johnson, Minister for Hong Kong Commercial Relations with the European Communities and the Member States, signed the NACA Agreement on behalf of Hong Kong and deposited the Instrument of Ratification with its Depository on 14 December 1988.
Copies of the Governor's authorisation,
the Instrument of Ratification and the acknowledgement of receipt by the Director of General, FAO are enclosed.
It remains for us to make the necessary notification under the International Organisations and Diplomatic Privileges Ordinance, (Cap. 190) once the Agreement enters into force.
