16. Commission circulated a paper setting out (in detail) proposals for the Community line on the latest WIPO Draft Treaty (copy enclosed) which at first glance looks to be a useful document. It was not discussed, not least because it appeared only in English.

Chair closed meeting by saying that Council Secretariat would produce a paper for next meeting suggesting what steps Council should take.
