1
Plenipotentiary and Administrative Council Papers. DTI will
distribute papers to BT, Cable and Wireless and Mercury.
CCITY Study Group Papers
Distribution of study group papers will in future be decided
as part of the normal consultative arrangements for these
groups bearing in mind the particular interests of trade
associations, companies and users who will be encouraged to
take a greater interest in CCITT work. UK members of particular
CCIT study groups will continue to receive papers direct from
the ITU.
CEPT
3 In future T Division will make known to BT issues where they
believe consultation is necessary with other parties. BT should
continue to draw to DTI's attention sensitive issues arising in
CEPT. Many CEPT papers are confidential to administrations and
may only be shown to outside parties on this basis, after
consultation with the BT and other representatives concerned to
ensure that the confidentiality of information supplied by other
CEPT members is maintained. DTI, in consultation with BT, will
be responsible for ensuring that papers marked "Information for
Industry" are appropriately distributed.
