ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION RULES
4.1
The admission of Hong Kong solicitors under the Ordinance is governed by the Admission and Registration

Notice of Application for admission of a foreign lawyer
4.2
Any person seeking to be admitted as a foreign lawyer should be required to give to the Society notice in accordance with a form to be set out in a Schedule to the Ordinance and should pay to the Society a fee to be prescribed.
Application for admission as a foreign lawyer
4.3
A person seeking to be admitted as a foreign lawyer should file with the Registrar a motion paper (an application) to move the court on a date to be fixed by the Registrar which should not be less than 14 days after the filing of the motion paper and should pay to the Registrar a fee to be prescribed.

Every motion paper should be accompanied by
a certificate of entitlement to practise law in a place other than Hong Kong;
