Duties and Responsibilities for the Post of
Legal Adviser in the OMELCO Office
(a) Το scrutinize all bills and

subsidiary
to the
legislation coming before the Legislative Council, with particularly reference technical and drafting aspects of such legislation.
on bills To provide legal advice to Members and subsidiary legislation coming before the Legislative Council.
To provide any necessary
necessary legal support and advice, as required, to LegCo Working Groups and other Ad Hoc Groups.
(d) To assist Members with the preparation of amendments and additions to legislation, as required.

To liaise with the Law Draftsman in the Attorney General's Chambers in pursuance of (d) and other relevant drafting matters regarding proposed legislation put before LegCo.
