BILATERALS

At present there are three periods available for bilaterals:
1500 - 1900 on 23 February 1500 1730 on 24 February; and 1500 -
1900 on 25 February, ie a total of around 10 and a half hours,
Less whatever time is needed for meetings with Mr Takeshita and
Mr Uno. I would in addition be prepared to use some or all of
the evening of 24 February. Otherwise I should like to attend
your dinner for the Duke of Edinburgh.

In descending order of importance, I would like to meet the
following for bilaterals (30-45 minutes unless otherwise
indicated):
a) President Bush: see para 5 below

programme is likely to be under particular pressure.
