1. I am most grateful to Mr Maude for agreeing to see the Hong
Kong Commissioner, Mr John Yaxley.
2.
The Department will of course submit a brief for that meeting
once a time has been fixed. In the meantime, the Minister might
like to be aware of the attached profile of Mr Yaxley, which
appeared in a recent edition of the Hong Kong Standard.
