Chinese have right to station troops in Hong Kong after 1997 as British have right to do now
No-one is questioning their right to station troops in Hong Kong.
That is clearly understood.

Issue which is being raised is whether they should choose to do
so and circumstances in which they should choose to do so.
Hope Chinese authorities are applying their minds to this because
activities of PLA at beginning of June were not such as to
establish high confidence in them.
