We are not yet in a position to take significant numbers of non-family reunion cases. We are still working up arrangements between government departments, local authorities and voluntary agencies for receiving, housing, etc the other groups. Unlike
other resettlement countries we had no existing arrangements
for such cases and have had to build them up from scratch. We
will accelerate our intake as soon as possible. As we have
