Thank you for your letter of 19 November and your kind words about my appointment. I am indeed intending to visit Hong Kong. I do not yet have a date and I would expect to be pressed for time when I am in Hong Kong. Nevertheless if it looks as though it will be possible to see William Lau, I shall get in touch with you.
