Our custom is to gather in a local hotel between 12:30 to 1:00 pm for luncheon from 1:00 to about 1:45 pm. We then invite our speaker to talk for about twenty minutes and, perhaps, take a few questions afterwards. We try to conclude the luncheon between 2:15 to 2:30 pm but would, of course, adjust the timing to suit your programme.
I do hope you will feel able to accept this invitation on a date of your choosing. It would, I believe, offer a further opportunity for Her Majesty's Government to state its position publicly in Hong Kong.
