MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE SEMINAR SUB-COMMITTEE
TO DISCUSS THE 1990 SEMINAR AND VISIT

2. Proposed Dates for the 1990 Seminar and Visit
Dates for the 39th Parliamentary Seminar (6th - 17th March 1990) and the Parliamentary Visit (9th - 25th May 1990) were approved.
3. Seminar Discussions and Opening Speakers
The Committee approved the list of Opening Speakers as shown at Appendix C.
4. Outline Seminar Programme
Outline Programme as shown at Appendix D was approved.
5. Applications for Seminar and Visit Places
The Committee agreed the guest list for the Seminar and Visit as shown at Appendix A with the proviso that the two places offered to Pakistan Members would be subject to a written request from Pakistan to be reinstated as a member of the CPA.
It was agreed that the Australian Capital Territory would be considered for places in 1991 when their branch is fully established.
6.
Estimated Cost of Seminar
The Committee approved the estimated cost of the Seminar as shown at Appendix B.
7. Any Other Business
The Deputy Secretary-General asked if it would be possible to display CPA gifts for sale during the Seminar. It was agreed that CPA gifts would be displayed during the Secretary-General's talk about the CPA.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 11.45 am.
