Senior representatives of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce will be visiting London on 11 and 12 September in order to meet key people and discuss the Hong Kong problem. I have been asked to assist with their arrangements.
The Chamber delegation will consist of: -

Their programme will include a lunch with MPs on Monday 11 September followed by a CBI meeting with 50 senior
industrialists, chaired by Lord Sharpe. Early on Tuesday morning they have a meeting with the Institute of Directors.
They have specifically asked me to request a meeting with you on Tuesday 12 September if you are in London. If this is
impossible, they hope that Mr Maude will be available to deputise for you.
I will telephone your office later this week to discuss the possibilities.
