Leave and last cay certi cate, notification of leave address, etc.
1179. (1) An officer going on vacation leave approved under
C.S.R. 1175 will be provided with a leave and Last Pay Certificate (G.F. 105) before leaving Hong Kong.
Note: This paragraph does not apply to officers going on annual leave under C.3.2. 1212).
(2) Officers are required to declare an address for correspondence before departure from Hong Kong. Any subsequent change of address must be notified immediately by air mail to the authority which approved their leave. Officers will be held responsible for any inconvenience which may be caused through official communications not reaching them promptly.
(3) An officer whose leave salary is paid through the
London Office must report to them immediately by
letter on arrival in his country of final destination.
(4) Heads of Departments are required to provide the
Song Song Government Office in London with the following details about officers on MPS Point 48 or equivalent and above going on leave to the United Kingdom, at least one month before the officer's departure from Hong Kong or as the officer's date of departure is known :

(State here whether the officer is nominated to assist at selection interviews, recruitment seminars. etc. If the officer has expressed a wish not to participate in these functions, this should be stated).
A copy of each notification should be sent to the Civil Service Branch.
