On my return to London, I write to thank you very much indeed for arranging my visit to the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force on Sunday 8 January. I had a marvellous day, and really am most grateful to you and to all those whom I met on the visit for your warm welcome at your base, and for all the flying I was able to do.
As I was able to see for myself, you have a significant expansion of your role ahead of you and endless enthusiasm for your role. I wish you every success with this and am confident that your current team will provide an excellent core for an enlarged RHKAAF in the future.
