TREATMENT OF HONG KONG PASSPORT HOLDERS AT UK PORTS OF ENTRY
[For general use]
Promised full investigation into complaints during my last
visit.
Outcome described in my message of 19 October to Lydia Dunn.
Glad to say that rate of entry refusals has fallen.
After personally observing immigration procedures at Gatwick and Dover, convinced there is no discrimination against holders of
BN(O) and BDTC passports.
All countries have to regulate entry: so does Hong Kong. is to ensure that Hong Kong travellers to UK are dealt with courteously and as speedily as practicable.
