PERSONAL SERIES
1. As part of the process of assimilating Governor's posts into and the mainstream of the Diplomatic Service I wonder whether it is necessary to continue having a "personal" series for telegrams to Governors. In theory the system still exists, although in practice, certainly in WIAD, we have dispensed with it. I personally see no need for the system but other departments may have different views.
2. This may be something worth raising in the Dependent Territories Liaison Group?
