30. Portuguese citizens in Macau may continue to use Portuguese passports after the transfer but no an appropriate status provided they person may acquire Portuguese citizenship as from that date by virtue of a connection with Macau.
| 30. BDTCs will lose that status on 1 July 1997 but are eligible to retain
obtain or are included in a British passport in that status before 1 July | 1997.
