Ways to Increase Political Confidence in Macau
The respondents were requested to rank the following in terms of their importance in increasing the political confidence in Macau :
Macau Government to carry out more infrastructural projects localization of the Macau Government
Portugal to issue more Portuguese passports to Macau people so that they can reside in Portugual when necessary
The outcome is that both Chinese and non-Chinese give top priority to "Localization of Macau Government" whereas "more infrastructual
projects" on the whole comes second and more passports to Macau people comes third. The civil servants themselves have ranked Localization of Macau government" very high (53%) though they are mainly Portuguese and Macanese.
