Personal Satisfaction Towards Sino-Portuguese Joint Declaration

{

Among the Chinese residents who are aware of the Declaration, 55% are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with the Declaration, 25% are satisfied with it and the balance 11% are not satisfied with it.

Among the Portuguese, relatively more people express an opinion towards the Declaration (60% VS 45% among the Chinese).

The Macanese on the other hand have similar ratings as the Chinese.

Taking into consideration people who are satisfied and people who are dissatisfied, we have a similar overall satisfaction level among the Chinese, Portuguese and Macanese (mean score being 2.1 to 2.2).

In summary, the satisfied group is roughly double the size of the dissatisfied group in each of the three ethnic groups.
