Likelihood of Making Major Purchase in the Next 6 Months
In this survey, we asked a question to find out whether people are more or less likely to make major purchase (such as furniture, appliances, apartment, car, vacation, etc.) in the next 6 months as compared to the previous 6 months.
The research findings indicate that over half of the people (55 - 60%) will either maintain or become more likely to make major purchases. People who are more likely to make major purchases are skewed towards the Chinese and the 15 24 age group when compared with the total sample. This is consistent with the relatively confident outlook on personal financial situation of these people.
