INTRODUCTION
This document contains the Survey Research Hongkong Ltd.
findings of the Macau Confidence Index conducted on behalf of LUSA by
The Confidence Index is planned to be repeated every 6 months and for each check, a sample of 500 individuals aged 15
years or over are the be interviewed by telephone. The sample should consist of 300 Chinese and 200 non-Chinese (100 Portuguese and 100 Macanese*). The respondents are to be randomly selected from the telephone directory first. However, as the number of non-Chinese residing in Macau is small, a booster sample will be used if we cannot achieve the above number of interviews from a random sample.
